word or symbol replacement

Is it possible to replace a word not with a symbol but with empty space. Automatically

i downloaded this mod , but he dont replace like that...

For example:

Tes_La_Rok_-_Broken_Reality

Would look like this:

Tes La Rok - Broken Reality

This will simply replace it when the post is displayed:
hook location - postbit_display_complete

PHP Code:

$find = "_";
$replace = " ";
$this->post['message'] = str_replace($find, $replace, $this->post['message']);
