Only tings that will change are if you did some "hardcoding" into your templates, which you can or do not have to update. They will be highlighted in red for any changes that are recommended to be change/updated.

Make a backup or copy the changed images to your desktop, then upload all the new files. Then replace your images in your board as you see fit.

Also, yes you can leave the config.php file alone. When uploading the file will be called "config.php.new", no need to update or modify this file.

Updated successfully yesterday, there was 1 error that i couldn't understand but i just ignored it and rest was fine, all the tables were upgraded and everything ran smoothly a part from that error. Now it shows my current version is 3.8.4 so i assume everything is okk now
