Top Urgent , MySQL Error

Hi there,

my issue ,, when i tried move any thread from forum to another i got this error

max_allowed_packet is a mysql variable that you may change in the my.cnf file. If you don't manage your own server, then you need to ask your host about increasing the value for you.

current value is of max_allowed_packet is 1 MB

i changed it to 8 MB and i still see same error.

and see the query in error log its very huge query here when trying move a thread,

please note nothing changed before in file my.cnf in the server ,

Did you restart mysql after you changed the variable (did you verify the variable changed by listing the mysql variables in a shell?)?
