Time is off in forums by 5 hours
Hi,
I set the time to GMT - 5 (Eastern Time) under: Vbulletin Options >> Date and Time Options >> Default Time Zone Offset and yet when a new post is made within the forums, it is way off. What do I need to edit to get the time within vbulletin to properly represent actual GMT ( US ) Time? |

Did you also set your time zone under User CP > Edit Options ?

Hi Lynne,
I am looking for a global time change, so that regardless of where users are originating from, the displayed time is always GMT - 5. If an individual from Florida makes a post, and another individual from Germany makes one, the time should always be converted to GMT - 5. Anyway to do this? |

I suppose you can somehow take away the option for users to change their time zone so everyone is in the same zone. There was a user who posted once who did that. You may want to do a search in these forums and see if you come across the thread cuz I think he posted what he did.
