Default Staff/User Not To Be On Whos Online/Staff Page List?

hi guys...

:erm: got problem about my female young talented moderator who is really capable and good...about anything...now the time comes that her father caught her about all of this...and he found out too that she reveal herself to our Staff And Members Gallery Sections...so he want her to terminate all of this and leave our site immideately...sad...really very sad...

in fact she don't want to obey her father and discontinues all of what she started to our site...from nothing till she learned a lot being a moderator staff...

now my question is is there any solution or any way i can still keep her as staff...being not seen by her father to our staff page, whose on line list and anywhere?

please appreciate any possible solution on this problem...

thanks and best regards to all...

for the staff list create a usergroup, that doesnt show in the staff list, i'm assuming that your using the showgroups as your staff list?

as for the who's online, just get her to set herself as invisible in her usercp options

If I were a parent and I was adamant that my child not be on a forum and the owner of the forum tried to hide this and I found out, I'd be talking to the host of the website about my underage child participating in a forum that I didn't give permission for. If the admin isn't going to stop this (and is in fact encouraging it), I'd be trying to get the website taken down. Just my two cents.

I'd follow a path similar to Lynne's and you could lose your site. But first, I'd just ban your site's IP address and domain name on my router to enforce my parental rights in what activities my underage child participates in. This would stop all traffic including web, email and instant messaging to that location. I already don't allow proxy servers to be accessed from my home network.

WOOOOOOOOO! Take It Easy On
Me Guys!

...don't too hard on me now....now you all looking and pointing your fingers... that this is all my fault?

...and who said anything about underage or minor age here.....

LOL! now i am a bit scared to both of this you...correct me if i'm wrong you both dont blaming me for all her problem? right?

normally...i already advice her to obey her conservative, strict father... whom she said doen't really trust or really hate the INTERNET WORLD! .....coz' i myself is a father here....but not like that....and i don't want also that IF my minor age children will maybe sneak something or doing bad that i dont want or like this behind my back without proper permission this is ani't good also for me......but as i said....WHO IS UNDERAGE? i don't think i said that.....Hope "YOUNG" doesn't mean always underage to both of you right?

what i mean about "Young Talented Moderator" is not that you think she is minor or underage...but not like us or some other staff moderator with a lot or well experienced into forum community LOL....

anyway....i already settled this problem myself...thank to all of your input...and appreciate any help and advice...

MY BETTER EXPLANATIONS/INTERPRETATION:

YOUNG TALENTED MODERATOR > NEWBIE TALENTED MODERATOR

OLD TALENTED MODERATOR >WELL EXPERIENCED TALENTED MODERATOR

hope it's well understood now and sorry for misunderstanding here...

thanks and best regards now.....

If she is over the age of consent and not and underage minor, than its an issue between her and the provider of her internet. In this case her father. As far as I am aware, age of consent is 18 almost anywhere. Under that age, a child is under the auspices of their legal guardian and you should abide by the wishes of that guardian even if you disagree with them.

Since you're a parent reverse the roles. What if it was your child doing something you disagreed with and another adult said "It is okay, your father is just being overbearing." You would be furious if you're any kind of real parent.
