I hear (speculating again) that if you detonate the big A the pressure and heat from the explosion will cause the style colours to merge into metallic blues and blacks and possibly hints of metallic green gradients. If you can't get the effect your looking for, I suggest using a higher concentration of plutonium and experiment with the colour balance/levels to get that metallic feel.

If you can get the metallic colours looking right you might have a visually appealing look on your hands. Beware though, psds can be dangerous when flung at 45 degree angles.
