systems you use
hi
I am new here. I will use vb in a project and i am wondering which systems you like to use like cms, shop's, scripts, etc. i am a dev. for drupal extensions so most time i use this system. i also like magento and of course i will soon have experience with vb. I also like to purchase scripts and customize them until they fit exactly into my need. i do php and js. regards |

There's a few scripts I like to use, but the one I feel most closely tied to is the vmood script by the author sniper because I designed complimentary mood Icons for the pack which certainly came with it's problems but it's been a nice experience from which I gained knowledge from.
I don't use any cms/portals for my sites so I can't go into great detail on that front. But I have used in the past. VBA being one, and provb index being another but soon found my site was better without a frontpage. I like using the chief thread script, this allows my database submissions to be viewed through multiple pages if the thread goes past page 1 and with the added bonus that you can still read the latest reply without clicking back to page one to view the original content. There are other scripts, but the vmoods is the one I felt close to and worked around more than any other. |

On vBulletin.org we use mostly custom scripts.

Mainly CodeIgniter, but for an actual CMS I usually go with EE, Drupal, or WP (for those ultra basic sites).
