Embed Stickam Flash player....

How to you go about embedding the flash player from Stickam. They give you code to embed but it doenst work. Id like for my memebers to be able to embed their players in a post or blog. Might be fun. Code looks like this

Create a new custom BB code via the AdminCP.

Tag name: stickam
Replacement:

<embed src="http://player.stickam.com/stickamPlayer/{param}" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="820" height="490" scale="noscale" allowScriptAccess="always" allowFullScreen="true"></embed>

Example: [stickam]177523246-9212445[/stickam]
Use Option: No
Now your users should be able to post [stickam]Video ID Here[/stickam] and it should embed.

The Video ID can be found in the URL: http://player.stickam.com/stickamPlayer/177523246-9212445

That worked all right but there is only 1 problem. No matter what player # you put it, it always embeds with my cam. WHy is that. I even replaced numbers with ***** and it still embeded. Whats going on.?

Hm, that's odd. I have no clue why.

Can you link to a thread that contains posts using different variations of the custom BB code? Or perhaps set me up with a test account?

sounds like you copied your code instead of letting it pass the parameter

also, stop e-mailing spamming your site

Heres the post where I announced the stickam...you can see the second screen also embedded even though I got rid of the last #, then I replace the last few #'s with **** and it still embeded. So i asked who wanted to go like, a member PM'd me his player #, and i replaced it in the code and he was live.

If you put his number in it's going to play that one. Use the param so that any number put in the blocks will be shown.
