Flickr - photobucket files in MY database
Hi everyone,
Question - I have many images on my art forum and many of them show through 3rd party links like photobucket and flickr etc. Then of course people sometimes delete these images and when the image is the first post in a thread, the whole thread is killed. I'd like to try and find a workaround to this. Is there a hack (and i would tell the members of the forum) that would store these 3rd party images in MY database and resize then to the dimensions I want? any thought or brainstorms on this? Thanks in advance. --------------- Added [DATE]1238428864[/DATE] at [TIME]1238428864[/TIME] --------------- bump - any thoughts? Thanks in advance |

No help to you but I'm after something similar.
Sick of oversized photobucket images in threads that make the users have to scroll all over the screen to read the posts. Also the loss of photo's as above. Makes big holes in threads when it happens. Cheers - Neil |
