Hi there guys,
I run a forum and very often users are violating rules more and more often. Say for example a user named 'Jack' double posted. I want to place a note on his account. If he then double posted again (and a moderator picked it up without knowing he had commited this rule before) - then is there a way to find out if they have violated one of the rules before? Not sure if you understand - but I don't want to use infractions or notes... just seems like a hassle. Thanks. |

Soft-delete the posts in question, and add a note as to why.
Then remind your moderators to search the members' post history when they soft-delete violating posts, and once a member reaches xx number of violating posts, the moderator should bring it to your attention for further review, suspension, or banning. (Once your moderators go through this a few times, the infraction system and user notes will look easy in comparison. ![]() |

You could also use the infraction system to do this.
