I think this isn't a big deal but more of an annoyance.
For some reason the "editor switch mode" has gone missing on my post editor. It the A/A function on the far right of the editor menu bar. I am pretty sure it enables switching between standard and advanced modes in the editor. I have done quite a few things to try to figure this out including creating a new style, disabling plugins and resetting everything back to the defaults in vboptions but nothing works to restore this feature. Any direction would be greatly appreciated toward helping me find the solution. |

So what mode are you stuck in? In vboptions > message posting interface > enable clickable message.... - are all those set to WYSIWYG editor?

What browser are you using? I know that if you are using Safari, you will not see that image.

Why does Safari not allow it to be shown?

I would guess the developers noticed problems with that browser and they disabled it.

HA! HA! Maybe they disabled Opera too! Or should! LOL Seems that is the problem on this one. Works fine in FF & IE. I was checking a clean install with FF and it worked fine but wasn't thinking and didn't check the "problem" there the first time. When I went back to check it, sure enough Opera was the culprit.
Thanks for the great pointer. |
