Is it possalbe to restrict a form to ONLY allow polls. No new text threads or replys? Does this make sence and how can I do it. I am brand new at this so any help is appreciated!

Yes, go to the forum permissions, and for registered users mark "Can Post Topics" to No... "Can Post Replies" to No.. and "Can Post Polls" to yes. That should make it so they can only post polls in that forum.

I think they need to have permission to post new threads, otherwise they cannot post new polls.

Chen is right - in order to post polls, you have to have the permission to post new threads, since you have to post a thread to post a poll. So that would take some hacking. It would also take more hacking to allow them to post a poll without making them post a message with it as currently all posts must have text in them.

Thanks for the info. Can you move this to the hacking requests please?
