ok i decided i was going to update counters>forums
and i went back to my site and every single thread was copied into my news/announcements forum....what gives? |

That would not happen with default vbulletin. Why did you have to update your counters? Was there some problem you were trying to fix and perhaps this copying of the threads was part of the same problem?

Hacked and all they did was copy all your threads into another forum? I've never heard of that happening, but who knows. Have you looked at your Control Panel Log to see if it says something?
What modifications have you installed? |

mod log just shows me deleting the threads...

Not the mod log, I said the control panel log.
I can't imagine how you duplicated the threads. If you made a backup of your database before you did this, you could just restore your database. Or, backup your database now and then delete the duplicated threads. |
