questions on possibilities to analyse a forum
Hey, I've come across some questions while working on our forum. For a future update and integration of plugins I'd like to ask for some tips on how these things could be done...
Can I analyse threads to see if a moderator is involved? Could I get a ratio of moderated threads against unmoderated threads? Can I see (per day/week/month) how many registered users have been logged in and/or posted? So I could get an overview of active/passive users. Our forum is divided into 3 subforums (german, french, english). Can one track visitor numbers per time separately for each? Can I get user-specific analysis? So to say how many posts per day/month... has he done? There is this hottest thread statistic. Is this possible per week/month? Can I only get the number of individual visitors for a thread, so users visiting multiple times are counted once? Any ideas? |

- how would you define a moderated thread?
- turn on active users and set a time limit and it will tell you how many of your users have been on your site within that time limit I'm really not sure all of those stats as I don't use a stats mod. I'd suggest looking through the various stats mods here and seeing if any of them do what you want. (search "stat*" in "all mods" "titles only") |

That sounds interesting. How do I do that? Where can I turn on active users and is there an option to set a time limit?

vboptions > forum home page options > active members time cut-off (for the time) and active members options > check show total active members.
