Multiple Titles

I have a forum based on a game where you can choose from a large number of classes, each with its own title based on how much Mana was used to create the character.

EX:

Created a Warrior with no mana yields a Warrior with the title Good for Nothing.

Users at my forum want to be able to choose their own class (i.e. Warrior, Mage, Valkyrie, Cleric etc) while maintaining the titles that they have based on post count.

0 posts yields good for nothing, 50 posts advances them to the next title in the tier. I would assume that if I created a joinable usergroup that they'd be able to choose their own, but is there a way to keep them from choosing again the next day?

Also, the big question that will dictate whether or not this will even work: can usergroup titles and the usertitles issued based on posts stack?
