I have some question about advertising. I have about 120-200 unique users, and 50-100 quests that are logged and any given moment. Normally `150 users logged into the site all the time. I am averaging a little over 5 million hits per month, average user is logged in 3-7 min. I think static ads are more valuable than ppc or banner ads. I am still pretty much a rookie at this, but thanks to this forum i am learning quickly. If this has already been discussed and kicked to death, i can follow links.

Have you tried to canvass your members to see if any are willing to pay for adding a banner?? send them out an email to get their views and wait the replies, have a poll and a debate, some members absolutely hate adverts

I would of thought adsense would of done well for you, Have you tried static ads, ppc or banner ads???

You need to experiment, no one here knows what type of site content you have, so its a bit of a nightmare to try and guess at it, Some forums are destroyed by people putting the wrong type of advertising, or worst still TOO MUCH!!

If your forum covers a particular niche, then you could add related ads, either by members or google, but you really need to get the balance right, with the right type of ads, for it to work successfully, at the moment your not giving anything away about your site which makes it harder for people to help
