Reason to block Requests for paid services from guests?
Title of thread states the question, just curious.

Because only licensed members should be able to fulfil those requests. (And a lot of the time they contain contact details.)

Did I read that wrong? I thought he was asking why guests can't make paid requests, and have members fill them...
Although I don't think guests should make or fill requests... And most of the time, coders/designers have contact info in their signatures, so guests can easily contact them outside of VBulletin.org. |

Bad idea IMO, opens all sorts of "bad" possibilities, I must side w/ the boards (vb.org's) stance on this per the current implementations

Because why should I compete with someone whose never used vBulletin before and will only waste my potential client's time and money?
You can't offer a good service if you are unfamiliar with a system you are developing. |

The paid requests section is open to licenced members only, there are no plans to change that.
