building an openx integrated style set - need some ideas

I have solved this so far by creating the new "light" styles, creating new zones as HTML or Text banners in openx and creating suitable banners of each image one within the existing campaign as part of a duplicate campaign assigned to the html/text zones. The style templates then call for the invocation code of that zone rather than the standard one.

Works ok but a lot of the speed issues come from the transfer of the ad server to the pages - being on the same host I need to look at a better invocation method!
