You are using some sort of modification to make it use the username instead of the id number. Default vbulletin uses the userid. So, if you want to use the userid, you need to disable whatever modification you are using to change them.

hmm, i dont remember what modification I have isntalled, ive checked no modification installed however, about template editing, i probably aint sure, do u know any which I can relate to, so i can get it back to default..

It's usually something to do with mod_rewrite in your htaccess file and it's usually some sort of SEO thing.
