If the print publishers can use Wordpress for their online magazine sites, it should prove more than capable.

In the end you should try them all and find the one that works for your needs. I personally prefer Wordpress at this time because it is very easy to work with and I have never had to hack the code. Install a few plugins here and there but never had to hack code. Drupal on the other hand was a coding nightmare from the beginning. Couldn't do much of anything without hacking the code or installing a couple dozen modules. Joomla provided little flexibility in the configuration of categories or taxonomy so was pretty wasteful in the long run. I'll admit that I haven't tried Expression Engine but it really doesn't interest me for my needs. |
