Hi Everyone,
I searched thru the mods on here and did not see anything that seemed like it would work so I came h ere to ask if I have overlooked something or if anyone has a DIY method they found works well for the following: My community has regional forums (by state, countries, cities, etc) A lot of these communities will start a thread where they post their name and location and they will get a big post with everyones username, first name, and location. This however - gets sloppy, unorganized, and confusing very fast. Is there a mod which would make this easier? Any thoughts on a more professional system? Would need to have multiple lists going for each regional forum! Thanks for any advice! will |

im not really sure what you mean, i'd add username, first name, and location as profile fields and have them show in the user postbit, but again im unsure on what you mean sorry.

i.e. In the Florida forum, we'd have a thread divided by region (South, Central, Panhandle, etc) and under each we'd have members listed like: Central BillyBo - Orlando John1 - Davenport Bob - Winter Park etc, etc, etc - whenever a member would post to the thread - the OP would add them to the list. It's just not ideal, it's messy, non-profesisonal, and requires an OP or mod to keep the list current. It'd just be nice to have a mod that would allow to add members to a list and provide a nice printed out list that's easily updtaded.. |
