I was trying to add a modification to my vBulletin board that I had installed at the first of the week yesterday.
When I tried saving it, it gave me this error: FORBIDDEN You do not have permission to access the /cap/template.php. I asked my "vBulletin Guru" and he said it must be a problem with the server because all the permissions were turned on correctly in the cPanel. He tried uploading them via ftp and it did the same thing. I asked my host and they said the server is running PHP 5. My vBulletin license is up to date running 3.8.2. Anyone here ever encountered this? If so, how did you fix it? If you haven't ever had the problem, any suggestions on how to fix it? |

Did you attempt to upload using the primary account created for your server account? It's usually different from your VB logins.

I tried it using the Root Admin. That is the account that was used to install the vB license.
