Translating Mods [12 mods]
I'm maintaining a forum and upgrade it to 3.8.2 from a very messy old version with a lot of uncompilable mods. I have around 12 Mods in mind to install.
I need to translate those mods to match the forum language. The only two ways I can think of are either translating the phrases in mods' xml file or add those phrases to the forum language pack. The problem with translating the xml files is that the mod will have only one language and it wont be bi-language. The problem with adding the phrases to the forum's language is if I uninstall any of those mods I'll need to remove those phrases again to keep the forum's lang pack clean. is there a way to make those Mods bi-language? do I have to ask the mod owner for permission to translate? You do not need to ask the developer if you can translate it on your own site for your own use (not distributing it in anyway).
