Hey I want to make it so users have the ability to turn on and off the shout box to their view. I figured to make a custom profile field (drop down or check box) when yes or checked that it would show the sh outbox when no or unchecked it hides it

so how would I in vb code check that profile field and do what I want it to do..

to clarify
if enabled = checked (or yes) then

shout box show

else if enabled - unchecked (or no) then

don't show shout box

end if

profile
Enabled Shout box? Yes | No
