How can I, or where do I modify the calendar listing code so that there is a line break and/or maybe a bullet next to events listed?

IMO this looks like poop, help!

Anyone have an idea where to start? I'm familar with html I just don't know what template this is.

Well if I was you, I'd try reducing the amount of days from 45 to something not so broad...

And change the display order to "by date"....

That's just what I would do before trying to change templates and stuff.
