how to make two users ignore each other?
Ok the ignore feature built into vbulletin doesn't seem to work. Or the two members decided to not use it.
How can I force two members that are not getting along to ignore each other? This is becoming a pain when its only these two. I would ban them both but I don't see it being fair when its only them two arguing with each other. Any help would be great. I am sure others had this problem. |

There isn't any mod that I can think of...
I mean, I guess you could log in as both, and add the other to their ignore list... there is no guarantee they won't just remove it... On our site, we have a rule against flaming, to prevent stupid drama from turning new users away... We simply give them a warning to cut it out... if they don't, then we suspend them. Might seem harsh, but we give plenty of warnings and they know better. There is no reason they can't take it to PM's or visitor messages. |

Do a search on "ignore" in "all mods" "titles only" and you should find the mod to do this.

I presume you have site rules?.....be courteous to others, etc.
Point them in that direstion. If they continue to ignore the rules....get rid of them. I can't see why you should have to install a modification because of two disrespectful members. Just Ban them and be done with it. Running a forum is supposed to enjoyable for the owner too......isn't it? You don't need hassle. |

I can give you a little snipper i wrote that will "hide" posts of certain users. You can modify it to make certain users not see posts of other users.
This won't work with PMs tho |
