Monetize Product Mod,

The Monetize product mod is a product for monetizing (making money) any vBulletin forum.
Product is managed and developed by forum manager with 10+ years of internet marketing experience and experience monetizing web properties (has created internet revenue of 3+ million dollars). Developer is actively monetizing several forums and creatively developing monetization techniques.

The first monetization element is a Runbox sign up in the vBulletin sign up sequence.
The Runbox.com premium email, web hosting and application hosting affiliate program pays USD 50 for every new customer you bring to Runbox.

When your users sign up for your vBulletin forum they are asked to optionally also sign up for a free trial of a Runbox premium email account. Runbox account is set up automatically. Email is sent to users email account with details. Your sing ups are tracked by Runbox.com and when they pay for Runbox you are rewarded the USD 50 affiliate revenue.
Mod sets up a site wide link to Runbox at your footer (optional of course) with your Runbox affiliate ID.

Product is imported in the products folder.
Product is managed in the vBulletin Options folder.

Product developer plan to add various new creative monetization parts to this mod going forward. Developer is very much interested in ideas and suggestions for new monetization parts.

Monetization will be done by direct revenue creating efforts, by marketing improvements and by generally increasing user engagement (indirectly leading to monetization).

It is developers general impression that a considerably deeper relationship can be created with casual forum users.

- Setting up "interests indications" check boxes added to profile in sign up sequence.
(When you have 1000 users interested in HDTV sets, you go to Amazon.com and create a set of offer links for them.)
- Sending emails to new sign ups with offers.

- Sending follow up emails to new users with set intervals.

With encouragement to engage in the forum.
- Site wide links setup and management system.
- Insert full page ad pages in between ordinary browsing page views in ordinary use of vBulletin.
- Amazon.com affiliate program integration.
- Pay USD XXX by PayPal to have private message answered well by any user.
- Pay to stick, users pay USD XX by PayPal to have a post sticked.
- Pay to have question answered. Users can pay USD XXX by PayPal to the best answer to a question.
- Pay by PayPal to give tip to a good post / good poster.
- Friend of forums. Users corporations stakeholders can pay USD XXX by PayPal subscription to be a "friend" of the forum. (Friends then get special treatment.)
- Pay to advertise. Corporations can pay USD XXX by subscription to have ad unit on your forum.
- Pay to host forum, users (corporations etc) can pay USD XXX by PayPal subscription to have sub forum hosted on your forum.
- Revver vBulletin video tutorials integration with ads.
- vBulletin premium subscription option built right into the sign up process.

Great to see forum masters are getting ideas from this.
Overall I think the monetization part of the vBulletin forum can be developed much further. I am not a techie myself, more of a business developer - and I hope I can add some value in the monetization part.

This looks liek a very very promising mod once it is developed a bit more.
