Consider removing some of your Mods. Focus on those that get involved in the posting process, and items that may have similar features. Also go easy on anything that displays information from a module, such as featured photos or blog entries.
If you're unsure about removal, at least try deactivating each mod one-by-one and see what happens.
Also try temporarily changing your site's theme to the default vbulletin style, and don't allow users to change it.
