Control Panel drop-downs no longer work
I can use the "expand all" to expand the control panel options and then use them but the drop downs are no longer working for me and also for another admin who just sent me a pm that he's having the same problem.
I haven't been able to figure it out. I've tried it with several browsers to no avail. Does anyone have any pointers about what might be causing this or how to fix it? |

Create a new style with no parent:
Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style : Parent Style: No Parent Style Title: Default vBulletin Allow User Selection: Yes Save Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem? |

To troubleshoot this, please remove any hacks and disable your plugins, then see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true); If so, reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server. Make sure to re-upload the clientscript folder and to clear your browsers cache. |

Thanks for the help.
I didn't install any new styles or mods but I did get hacked with a XSS scripting. I hadn't upgraded the latest patch levels and got burned, it seems. I reloaded the latest version of vBulletin and it seems what was ocurring were errors in the clientscript/vbulletin_global.js. The new version fixed it, though and now the Javascript is working again. Thanks again for the help. |
