How to create/change navigation?
Hello,
I am new to vBulletin and this forum. Here my question: I want to create several forums with subforums (for example: cooking with subforums meal, fish, vegi and so on). Now i want these forums and subforums to be accessable via a fancy navigation bar on top of the forum. In the navigation bar there would be one row with forums (cooking, vacation and so on) and the subforums. when one clicks on these buttons or links, then the specific forum/subforum would be opened. If i click on a forum, the subforum navigation (categories) would change, according to the forum i clicked on would look like this: Cooking | Vacation | Fishing Meal | Fish | Vegi Is there a solution for this? perhaps it would be dufficient, if i could read out the path information of vbulletin (i mean this): vBulletin.org Forum / Community Discussions General vBulletin Discussions then i could program a header with a navigation-bar which defines what forum is opened when i click on a specific button. is it possible to read this information? --------------- Added [DATE]1235994060[/DATE] at [TIME]1235994060[/TIME] --------------- it would also be nice, if the style that is used depends on the forum i am in. is that possible? |

I believe what you are talking about is just a javascript (or dhtml? I can't remember) menu. Do a google search on them. You'll then have to code it into your navbar.
