Adsense block position very hard to insert

They are using one of the built in vBulletin Ad location templates, just add your google code to the one you want and it displays just like that, check out style manager>edit templates and expand the ad location template so you can see which ones are available. Depend on the style, if you have a custom style, you may have to tweak it to get it to work.
