post counts for all forums

Ok, i tried it but i'm code moron, so i ask... I'd like to have the total threads/posts for each forums, even if the sub-forums are hidden. for now, the engine is not calculating the forums with no-permission, which is bad because i want to show the postcounts without giving a view on the sub-forums in it... the engine stop the users from viewing the threads, but not the sub-forums, which is bad for what i need....

There is a setting which stops post counts from being counted in some forums. Im not sure where it is but it shouldn't be too hard to find.

Post counts are always counted even if the forum is private, unless stated otherwise in the options.
