Check your forum setttings and vB options for your email address being notified of any new post.

I bet you added your email address to the forums when you set them up. Go to AdminCP>Forums & Moderators>Forum Manager>edit Forum>Moderation Options

check these two options for your email address:

Email Addresses to Notify When there is a New Post
(Separate each address with a SPACE)

Email Addresses to Notify When there is a New Thread
(Separate each address with a SPACE)
