Special Permissions
I want to make it so new members do not have the ability to post links or pictures... perhaps if they do, it will not show up live... it would be content that needs to be pre-approved.
I see there default user titles go as follows: Junior member Member Senior Member Is there any way to set certain permission to each of these? For example, make it where only "senior members" can post pictures and/or out-going links? Thanks in advance for any help. |

That cannot be done in a default installation of vBulletin. However, you may want to create a separate usergroup for the "normal" users. And change the registered users usergroup to being moderated. Then use Usergroup Promotions to run a promotion for users that have X posts.

Thank you for responding... is there a way (a permission setting) that allows people to post text, however, prevents them from posting images & out-going links?

There is no permission to do that, however, there may be a modification, but I do not know of it.

There is a BBcode permissions mod that could do it, but the author has not confirmed its compatibility with 3.8.x yet. |
