On My forum, when viewing the user's profile, The tabs for it look like this

Is there anyway I can lower it somehow so Its not so high up?

Without seeing the actual template code, it's hard to answer.

You could revert the memberinfo template but you will loose all mods in it. Take a copy of the whole template before you revert and then you can copy it back.

XHTML Verification is a good way to find faulty code.
