Hello, i would like to ask for a bump system mod because in my forum, as it has a market area for the users that want to buy/sell/trade items in-game ( muonline ) the bump is used a lot in that area and there are some users that bump more than we allow so i was thinking in an advanced bump system.

But it isn't for vB 3.8.x plus is doesn't has the options im looking for.

How would it work?
- A button with the text " Bump " will be added next to the 'quote' button just like the Post Thank You hack..

- Only the thread creator will be able to use the Bump button on his thread.

- After the user press the button a log of the times the user bumped the thread will appear below the 1st post of the thread.. ( like the Post Thank You hack that adds the users who thanked but for this system it could be the bump log )

The logs can show the exact time the used bumped his thread..

Now about the permissions..

If its possible to let the admin edit the permissions for each usergroup like:

* In which forums the bump system is enables/disabled
* Which usergroup can use the bump system
* How many time X usergroup has to wait until it can bump the thread again
* Logs format
* Logs style: Horizontal or Vertical
* How many times a thread can be bumped

So, after the user bumps his thread:
-- The bump button will disappear until he can re-bump his thread
-- The Log of his bumps in that thread is shown below the 1st post
And the thread will appear like not-read and it will be at the top of the section

Additional things that could be useful:
* A bump log for the moderator

how will the log be shown:

a list of the users that has used the bump system, so if the moderator wants to seach the bumps of X user he would have to search for his username and ALL the logs of that user will be shown.

Well I hope some coder consider this mod request, i think this mod will be very useful in cases like mine because we can have more control with the forum spam..
