Does anyone have any suggestions for the proposed "login" link?

There is no "login page" in vBulletin though. You will have to create this yourself.

I would settle for being able to login from the main page, but I am not sure how to enable this.

I think I may have deleted a

"$header
$navbar"

reference somewhere, that is affecting JUST the main page...

I'm really not sure. I just need users to be able to login from the main page by any means.
