You can also right-click on its shortcut and tell it to operate in Windows Vista or XP compatibility modes through the properties dialog. I haven't had any detrimental problems either, other then my 7 in 1 or w/e media reader on my Dell XPS, I haven't really sat down and tried to fix it yet, but it does not work as of now. I found that many drivers and stuff, if you try to install, and it fails, W7 will give you a pop-up and attempt to fix it for you and it actually works...pretty neat!
