I know that there is for one of the versions of Vbulletin, this sorta thing, but not sure if 3.8.1 can handle it, and not sure if I can even find it, I can't even think of the correct name for it.

What it does

You can send a message to a member who online only, and it pops up while they are on the forum, and they can respond back. It is like a Instant Messenger... I think it works sorta like the PM system but its instant.

Have I confused you? LOL... I hope someone knows what I'm looking for.

It's called vBPager and was created for 3.5.x. It's now in the graveyard so you can't download it. Your only hope is if someone is currently using it and can upload it for you.
