I mean, it's not like i'm not listening... but she likes to be a bit goofy when it's just me and her and jump around and scream

Sometimes i join her... sometimes i try to ignore her, if i'm busy or tired.

When i was office based we had some background music, Now i run and program 4 CNC Machines on the shop floor, the noise dosn't make it viable to have a Radio, so yeah i miss it

I can live without it, but if the option is there, I'll comfort my ears with some headphones. White noise or binaural tones (see: iPhone app, MindWave) also help keep me concentrated on the task at hand.

I actually learn the lyrics to songs when music is playing and I'm working, even if I'm not paying attention to the music itself.

But generally it depends on my mood.

I listen to music pretty much all day at work, I don't have to but i like to.

Very rarely do I have music on while working - the only time i normally have it on is if relaxing, or when driving.

It's the only time I listen to music is while I'm working at the computer. Other times I'll have bbc news 24 running in the background.
