I apologize if I posted this in the wrong forum, please move to the correct area if necessary. This issue has been going on for about a year now, but about a week or so ago we upgraded from 3.6.8 to 3.7.4 and unfortunately the issue wasn't resolved.
For some reason beyond my knowledge, vBulletin is displaying the wrong time. It's off by 1 hour and 20 minutes, sort of odd ball to be off an additional 20 minutes. Just a bit ago, vBulletin said it was 8:36AM when it was actually 9:59AM. What's funny is this though. vBulletin is set to (GMT -6:00 CENTRAL TIME) and my personal account is set to the default vBulletin time and it's still 1:20 off. However, the only way I can get it close is to set my account time to (-5:00 EASTERN TIME) but then it's still 20 minutes off. I know this is probably a server issue and not much can be done, but is there any mod that will allow me to manually set the exact forum time to compensate for the 1:20 difference in the time and/or is there an application that I can upload to the server that will allow me to check the actual server time? Thanks |

If the time is wrong, why not go after the host? If they refuse to fix something as trivial as the time, they have some issues IMO (unless you are on a self-managed server, which it is then your problem).

Why do you say that? Fixing the server time is easy if you have access to it.
