register issues

some peeps are getting this erro when they try to reg

but some are getting to register any ideas why this is

That's the exact error? I can't even find anything like that in the phrases so it's hard to tell what the error is from. Maybe you have a Server Load Limit set on your forum and so it closes the board every once in a while (admins wouldn't see that)?

vboptions > Server Settings > Server Load Limit is where you can see if you have it set. As for seeing if that is the problem, I will login to my servia via ssh and 'watch' top if I suspect my server loads are going high. But, I'm sure other people use other methods.

That means the options is disabled. So, that isn't the reason for the problem.

Try to get a copy of the exact error so we can figure out where it is coming from. Like I said, doing a search of part of that phrase you posted shows no results so I have no clue what is spitting it out.
