Third column in usercp
Having trouble with the table widths in some of the templates that go into the user control panel and was wondering if someone here could help me.
First off, I think the only two templates that control the user control panel are usercp and usercp_shell. Basically it looks like this: usercp_shell START MASTER TABLE WHICH HOUSES EVERYTHING -START MASTER TABLE ROW --START 1ST MASTER TABLE DATA ---NESTED TABLE TO HOLD THE LEFT COLUMN --END 1ST MASTER TABLE DATA --START 2ND MASTER TABLE DATA ---$HTML (VARIABLE THAT CALLS FOR THE USERCP TEMPLATE) --END 2ND MASTER TABLE DATA -END MASTER TABLE ROW END MASTER TABLE Now the user cp template has a bunch of tables in it, but it basically looks like this: START MASTER TABLE WHICH HOUSES EVERYTHING -START MASTER TABLE ROW --START 1ST MASTER TABLE DATA ---A BUNCH OF NESTED TABLES THAT MAKE UP THE MIDDLE COLUMN --END 1ST MASTER TABLE DATA --START 2ND MASTER TABLE DATA ---A FEW NESTED TABLES THAT MAKE UP THE 3RD COLUMN --END 2ND MASTER TABLE DATA -END MASTER TABLE ROW END MASTER TABLE WHAT I'M TRYING TO DO: Basically I want the middle and third column widths lessened so that the third column doesn't overlap and distort the layout. I've tried adjusting the width of every table and table data tag I can think would be causing the problem but those annoying middle and third columns won't budge it's their widths one iota. I've tried putting the third column in the usercp_shell template, I've tried putting it in the usercp template... no dice. (right now it's in the usercp template) I've attached the two templates as text documents to this post. It's been kicking my butt for a couple days now but hopefully someone here can help me? |

Nevermind I figured it out. The personal notepad had some settings in the admin cp that made it a fixed width and I changed it to fluid.
I still need to make that right column a little smaller and the middle column a little bigger, but at least it won't distort the layout anymore. |
