I am developing a site with a lot of customization. There will be several features added on to vB using mods, plugins, as well as custom PHP code to reach into the MySQL DB. I'm also using vBSEO.
In the past, using Drupal as well as phpBB, I ran into problems after installing the newest versions. Why? The newest versions didn't have enough mods/plugins/etc... developed for them yet. What version of vB should I use to maximize the number of mods/plugins I can use to customize my installation? PS: I wanted to ask this in the General Discussion area, but the board refuses to recognize that I bought two vB licenses this AM. Thanks for any help! ![]() |

theothersully,
You are currently showing up as unlicensed. To be able to download modifications and/or receive support here at vBulletin.org, we ask you to please click here (vB-Germany users click here, vB-Chinese users click here) and enter your email address. You will need to use your customer number and password (which will be in the email you got when you paid for your license) to access that page. Please note that your email is case sensitive. To protect our customers privacy you will also need to Opt-In to license validation for all Support Sites. You must authorise vBulletin.org in order to validate your license status here. You can do this at the page linked above for your distributor. Make sure to set the permission to allow vBulletin.org to validate your status. The update of your account can take up to one hour. Thank you. |

Yeah, I did that over an hour ago. I own 2 licenses as of this AM. I guess I'll just wait a while longer. I'd really like to get started downloading my first copy of vB though.

Downloading vBulletin is done from the Members Area (members.vbulletin.com) as instructed in the email you have received when your purchase was completed. this has no relation to your license status on vb.org.
PS Your email address is not used on any license. |

My setup at : http://members.vbulletin.com/membersupport_priority.php Is just not propagating through to your forum. I have full access on vBulletin.com's forum... See? http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...53#post1662953 |

Make sure the email address you are using here is the same as the one at vb.com. Also, make sure you select vb.org under Site Permissions on that page you linked to.
