Browser Window Size and view
Hey,
I'm not sure how to explain it in english so i'll try my best. i want my forum to have kinda the same viewing settings as this site what i noticed is that when i make the browser window smaller it changes the forum look, especially the navbar. I also noticed that when i change my resolution it changes the sites look as well. the site above on the other hand doesn't take affect to nor the browser window change and the resolution change. Any idea what setting they use that makes it stay the same? Cheers Ese |

I don't see a site listed to see.
Are you talking about how some forums have fixed width and others are fluid? |

The second site has a fixed width (of 850px). So, just change your width under the StyleVars and see if that does what you want.

Oh Cheers that did it. the fixed is on 850 and the spacer size 0
i somehow thougt the best settings for a nerrow forum is to set the fixed width to 100% and then change the sapcer size. Do you see any problem from your experience with setting it this way? Thanks again. |

I, personally, like fluid widths for most forums (fluid is when you use a percent, %, like you were). But, some forums look fine with a fixed width (fixed is when you use pixels, px, like the second site is). I think it depends on your content.
