Mistake

1.caps-->http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/9469/upgradety1.jpg

2.caps-->http://img378.imageshack.us/img378/5002/caps2hj2.jpg
That would be a downgrade, not an upgrade, which is not possible.

3.7.4 is newer than 3.6.12, and thus cannot be downgraded, so unless you ran a 3.6 version in the past and have a database backup from that time, you can't go back to 3.6.x, only upward to newer versions.
