Very true, I can agree with that. The character of Bush is obvious. Obama has a bit to prove, for sure. But I ain't worried. You don't need to worry either.

while u are debating it - remember it was America who started this war and now they going to back out and leave a civil war to escalate in Iraq.

Seems you good at starting wars but not cleaning up the mess afterwards.
Also if the troops are coming home in 2 months that is not down to obama - it just means it was on the cards anyway so get out of your fairy world that u living in and get in the real world.

You are so wrong, it's pathetic.

First off, this 2 month deadline has absolutely nothing to do with draw down initiated by Bush or Obama, it's an Iraqi demand. Read a newspaper.

While I agree, starting may not have been justified, we are not running away and leaving a mess. The money for infrastructure has been sent and misused by the Iraqi's.

If you want to jump in and name call, you should at least know the facts.

im not name calling - i dont have time to read newspapers and it was one of the threads above that said the world was changing in 72 hrs all thanks to Obama and i asked why and then the reply was that troops where coming home in 72 hrs.(so re-read thread)

Well, in two days time, Iraq has told us to leave in 2 months if they don't get their way.

Bring the boys and girls home. Let Iraq in it's infinite wisdom fix themselves the rest of the way. They must have learned arrogance from G W Bush.

Let's plan the welcome home party. Obama doesn't even have to force a withdrawal. This is a great day! We can't give Iraq concessions as they demand.

Welcome home troops!

I've heard quite enough generalizations from you based on your views on america as a whole. If you are going to be biass and stereotypical, feel free to let me know where you're from and I bet i'll have a load of nice comments for you to surround yourself with

In the real world, as countless of others have said.. You have a country who was no longer happy with their elected president or the results that came about after our last president was elected. Numbers don't lie, people lie.. and the numbers show that we do want change. Being that Obama represents just that, of course America is thrilled. Most of the people I know now have the opportunity (some for the first time) to say "I'm proud of who our country's president is".

No one expects an overnight change, I agree that people who do need to get out of their fantasy. But there's no doubt that people are expecting and desiring change in general, for the better of course. With the right backup by congress, actions from us as Americans (we all need to play our role), and our newly elected president, we can now reestablish the hope and motivation our country needs and deserves.

Once again, it's not one person. We have three branches of Federal Government for checks and balances.

Didn't they teach that in your school?

In this election the people put many new Congressmen and Senators in place, not just one person as President, to initiate this change.
