Add-On Releases - Radio and TV Player

This mod won't be updated for vB 3.7.x, the new mod thread is on the 3.8.x forum. Mark that thread as installed if you want to receive updates for the 3.8.x version.

This will add a fully featured radio and TV streaming player and stations library to your forum.

- Users can add / delete / edit own stations
- Favorite stations
- Report broken / duplicate stations
- Full AJAX
- Plays Windows Media Player, Real Player and Quicktime streams
- Shows user's favorites and last played station in profile

This mod is "Re-usable Code", meaning you can modify it and release your own version.

You are responsible for the streams you add to your website. The mod author doesn't take responsibility for possible copyright infringements in some countries and with some stations.

Arabic and Chinese don't work with Ajax, so this mod won't work, sorry.

Sorry, not phrased in AdminCP (Frontend is completed!!!):

Clean Ratings
This will remove ratings made by deleted users, and users that don't have permission to rate stations.

Clean Stations
This will remove stations with no category, in case you removed the category using the database or other problems.

Radio and TV
Options
Import / Export Stations
Clean Up

Stations XML

Export Category
Category

Choose Stations to Export
Category

Works for me, I installed 3.7.4 two days ago.

yes stifmeister, i have just installed 3.7.4 and this is working perfectly fine without any problems
however, i stil have 33 template edits that the system is asking me to revert. what did u do in your case?

I'm guessing they are vbulletin templates, not radio & tv platyer templates... What was your previous version?


You just have to revert templates (and lose any customizatons that you've made) or edit them manually. I know, it sucks..

You ever have your finger on the trigger and you really want to pull the trigger but you are really afraid of what is going to happen if you do?

A lot of people have asked questions regarding supported streams and nobody answers. I'm really really interested in installing this, but I have a huge architecture already in place and don't like to install things and find I have to uninstall because it doesn't work as advertised.

Can anybody note what video streams are supported?

I think they use a proprietary flash player, but I don't know
