Email Notification cutoff -need to disable this
I find the way vb cuts off email notification if you don't visit the forum very destructive to one of my communities.
It has a lot of busy activist members who won't visit often but do like to receive updates on discussions without havingto visit and login. Including me! Is there a mod to disable this notification cutoff? That is to ensure that email notification continues whether or not user visits the board. Or is there something I'm missing at admin level? |

In default vbulletin, there is no script that emails inactive users. It sounds like you have a modification installed that does this. Look through you Installed Mods (under User CP in the upper left corner) and see which mod it is and then turn it off.

I'm unaware of any method to set a cutoff date for notifications, even with a mod. Unless maybe, like Lynne said, you might have some sort of "inactive users" mod installed?
It might be more likely the notis are just getting overlooked by them, or even going to their spam box. |

There may also be other replies, but you will not receive any more notifications until you visit the forum again. All the best, vBulletin.org Forum I'm also looking for a way to disable this. I want my members to be able to read all posts without having to come back to the board regularly. If you find something, please post it here. Thank you! |
