vBi-Gallery for vB 3.6.X · **Released**: 10-07-2006

This is the 3.6.X-Version of my vBi-Gallery for vBulletin.

It's an update to this hack:

This gallery-system integrates completly into vB, because it's a modification of the forum itself and uses the attachment-system of vb.

Therefore, it's neccessary to be sure, that the attachment-system is working and it's possible to create thumbs. Otherwise, the gallery won't work.

Btw, I want to thank all the people here, which are using this gallery.

I have appy a patch in previous post but the speed is unchaged

After reading all the posts and PMing and emailing some of the other unfortunate folks who have installed this abomination the consensus is:

1) It doesn't work as described. It may work at first tricking you into thinking it's OK but then the problems and crashes start.
2) There is no support.
3) The installation instructions are from an outdated version. (the installation instructions supplied will NOT make the current version work but it WILL mess up your forum)
4) It may crash your vbulletin so badly you can't get into cpanel to remove it. Then where will you be?
5) It is like a woman you meet when you're drunk: You will waste hours of your time trying to get it to work for you, then many more hours trying to get rid of it.

now before (the server i was on) went tits up, i had this mod installed and it was working fine, but i lost everything in their hard drive crash. Now i have re-installed this onto another server and i am getting a strange problem when i go into the gallery forum.

I am clearly missing something here and would love for some help.

Thanks for the heads up. I have been looking for a good album pack like I have on my phpbb2 board and I came REALLY close to installing this and saw your post, went back and your wright. Vbulletin.org needs to remove this mod and it's author for abandoning it.

Hello,

It's been working fine for me until recently. When I click manage attachments, browse for a pic and then click upload I get this error.

Any idea what this might be?
